Excellent location, in nature, surrounded by vegetation, a couple minutes away from the beach, main road and restaurants. Tuktuk or taxi always available nearby.

We were looking for a room with 3 beds which is a bit tricky to find. Fortunately Baan Long Beach offered one for a really good price during off-season. Space for 4 adults which ends up in a lower rate than in a hostel. One of the cleaning lady was very sweet and helpful. Always smiling and understood English. Laundry 40THB/kg. Kitchenette with large fridge. Big beds. Quiet area. Close to a supermarket and scooter rentals. 5 mins to the beach. Wifi was pretty good. Complimentary water. A/C worked perfectly and is needed in April. Definitely a recommendation.

Very good location, close to the beach In Booking.com we booked Baan Long Beach. In the confirmation you get the message that you have to report at the Blue Gecko desk which is opposite to Baan Long Beach. We got a house at the Blue Gecko which was fine with us. It all belongs to the same group.

It was a great location generally and the beach was a few hundred meters from the property. Close to bars/beach bar’s restaurants and plenty going on along the main road. George and all his staff were friendly, approachable and informative. The breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day and good value. Felt relaxed and peaceful.

We stayed there for 16 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff was very good and friendly. The owner George was exceptionaly helpfull. The property is a group of bungalows close to the beach a very quiet and calming place. Will definitely come back here next time around.

We had an incredible 8-night stay at Baan Gecko Long Beach on Koh Lanta, and we can't recommend it enough! The bungalow we stayed in had two spacious bedrooms and two modern, newly renovated bathrooms. The accommodation was simple but perfect for us – no TV, just a peaceful, minimalist space to relax after a day of exploring. The location was ideal – just a short 5-minute walk to the beautiful Long Beach. We loved the quiet, laid-back atmosphere of the area. What really made this stay special was the hospitality. The owner and manager, along with his amazing team, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They were always available to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging tours, transport, or just offering local tips. Their warm, friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. The daily continental breakfast was a real treat! We enjoyed muesli and yogurt, fresh eggs made to order, along with refreshing fruit drinks and seasonal fruit. It was the perfect start to each day. Overall, Baan Gecko Long Beach is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Koh Lanta, this is it! Highly recommend.
