We had a lovely stay at the Serenity Resort. It’s a small and cosy place in the Northern part of the island. Our bungalow was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a beautiful terrace at sea where you could have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The pool area was great too. You’ll be far away from the busy parts of Koh Chang, so if you want to explore or go to restaurants you’ll definitely need a motorbike as there is not much around.

Serenity Resort is a beautiful, cozy and calm resort. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We didn't book a seaview bungalow, but still had a nice view to the sea. All the bungalows are great, so it doesn't really matter which one you end up to. The bungalow was very clean and looks even better than in the pictures. You have a lot of different options to eat in the resort restaurant (even vegetarian options which is a plus) and the food is very affordable. Kayaks and sup boards are free of charge. The restaurant closes early so evenings are peacefull and there isn't any noice during nights.

Location in a quiet side of an island and that was great, no traffic and tourist noise. No city lights at night so you can enjoy night sky. Staff very friendly and helpful. All snorkelling gear, paddle boards and kayaks for free.

Located on the quiet side of the island, the beach is a couple of steps away from the pool, restaurant, and rooms. The hotel provides kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkelling gear for the use of the guests. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the thai food was delicious and the drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. We had the pool villa with sea view, which also comes with a plunge pool on the roof and seating for umpteen people. Rooms were comfortable and sufficiently clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Some may see the beach as a bit strange due to it not being totally sandy and white. On this side of the island, the beaches are quite rocky, and the sand is a brownish colour. On the other side of the island they have white sandy beaches, there are also lots of bars, shops and restaurants and a lot more people.

Wonderful situation, far enough from the noisy bustle of the town. Serene and tranquil bay, perfect for a bit of canoeing. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Our villa was situated right on the beach between the pool and the restaurant, but remained quiet and peaceful.

Highly recommend this resort. It’s a small and friendly oasis. Chilled, relaxed and has a somewhat bohemian atmosphere. Spacious and clean accommodation, king beds, with fabulous private plunge pool/jacuzzi on the roof. Good WiFi. Really good and quiet air con. Small kitchen area with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave. The resort has a small infinity pool with sun lounges. There wasn’t a massive beach area, but swimming in the shallow, still, clear and warm waters was so lovely. Breakfast was good, but the Thai food for dinner was so delicious, really tasty. Staff are smiley, speak good English and work very hard. We didn’t feel the need to venture further a field. Our enjoyable stay passed all too quickly.
