It was our third time at the Candlewood Lodge and it was great as always. Matthias is an excellent host, the breakfast is amazing, the location is very convenient, the rooms are excellent and there is a well-stocked wine fridge in the kitchen! What more could you want?

Situated not far from the Centre of Knysna and in a quiet location, looking out over marina and islands Such a warm welcome from Matthias who welcomed us with warm towels and coffee after a long trip. Was offered a choice of rooms as not busy at the time of stay. Matthias sent advise for stop off point on route the day before and also gave a good guide on where to visit once in Kynsna. Room was excellent and breakfast in morning was exceptional. Not sure how much they thought we could eat but had every choice you could want. Would in doubt return to this property on our next visit to this area. Thank you to Matthias whom made it special.
