Hotel Overview

In a stunning part of North Yorkshire, Goldsborough Hall is a stately manor that was once the home of Princess Mary, the great aunt of King Charles III. Although our accommodation is offered on a room only basis, 3 AA Rosette gourmet dining and full Yorkshire breakfast are available at an additional cost.
Some of the main hall suites have a Jacobean hand-carved four-poster bed, as well as an ivory leather chesterfield sofa, 50-inch plasma-screen TV, an iPod docking station and a private bathroom with a spa bath and a wireless controlled monsoon shower.
Goldsborough Hall offers a grand setting that reflects its long and important history. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Surrounded by beautiful grounds, with unspoilt views over parkland, the 400-year-old manor is 11 km from Harrogate.
Goldsborough Hall is ideal for a relaxed, romantic getaway.
The Dining Room is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, our sister property The Bay Horse Inn will be open for food and is only a short walk away.

The Lascelles Suite offer guests an Emperor-size four-poster bed, a sunken whirlpool bath over looking the Lime Tree Walk, and a 150-inch cinema screen with surround sound.

The Hutton and Oglesby rooms offer traditional features, an Emperor-size mahogany four-poster bed and en-suite bathrooms. They are also equipped with a double sofa bed (for an additional fee) and dining area.

The 'luxury rooms' come with a king-size mahogany sleigh bed and en-suite facilities with a bath, twin sinks and power shower.

Our Deluxe King rooms are our smallest rooms very cosy, whilst still offering 5ft king-size beds and plenty of creature comforts including a 50" Digital HDTV, mini bar, safe, modern bathrooms with luxury bath, sink and power shower. Situated in the Hall's adjoining Dower House wing.

The Royal Suite offers traditional features, a four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom. It comes with seating area, double sofa bed (additional charge) and fantastic views across the parkland and down the royal lime tree avenue.

Double or Twin Room with Garden View - enter dates to see room photos

With views across the landscaped gardens, the 'Luxury Garden' rooms offer a king-size bed and a bathroom. These rooms can be configured as a double or twin (advance notice required).

We enjoyed our stay although for me it was a little stuffy. That is very personal as I would usually stay 4* rather than 5*. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Dinner was beautiful although you do pay for it. Breakfast in the conservatory was very good although pretty formal.
