Room was super clean, staff fantastic, friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Location is great, walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach and bus stop. Would recommend Castell Hotel, I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff tried to help with everything. There was a kettle in the room, but coffee, cookies and fruit were available every morning. There were even various cosmetics for guests!

The hotel is in a great location, close to the sea and several good restaurants. But best of all perhaps were the staff, unbelievably helpful and easy going.

They prepare everything you need for lying on the beach for free. Free coffee and cakes on the morning city center near restaurant backeries and there is a grocery downstairs (even they are much more expensive than the other groceries side of the main road)

Everything was perfect, daily cleaning, staff was extremely friendly and kind and warm, they would greet you with a smile every time and offer advice regarding places to see or go for dinner. In the lobby you will also find the hotel cat, a lovely black cat, waiting for some scratches and supervising everything. Even though we were in October and the nights were a little cold, the room temperature was warm. They have free umbrellas and beach towels for guests to use. They also have free laundry service. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff are the most friendly people ever, the rooms are large, they offer a wide range of cosmetics and toiletries, in case you need something, free bottled water both in the room and o the hallway, free coffee and cakes, fresh towels every day.

Castell Hotel was much better than the 3 star hotels I stayed at in Chania. The owners (and pets!) were delightful and very attentive and helpful - would recommend to anyone!
