Nice property with potential, unfortunately it’s been left to deteriorate in some corners. The pool bar didn’t even serve coffee after a morning swim. Pool area no atmosphere at all. The maisonette was clean, but not very cosy. Sea view only from the window upstairs in the bedroom. The young lady who is there for a few hours a day wasn’t much help regarding car hire, bus schedule etc, her „I don’t know“ became a joke.

Lovely friendly staff. Plenty of hot water for showers with regular change of clean towels and bedding. Quiet location which had a pleasant rustic charm. All apartments had a private outdoor area with table, chairs and and a parasol. Pool facilities very good with nice area to relax. The apartment was very good value for money. For us a car was essential to get about and visit the lovely beaches and the local town for shopping.

The concept of the Wind Mills village itself is romantic and nice. It's not far from the famous Balos beach (even though the trip with older people or the kids is tough - 30 minutes of the broken rocky road by car and then 20 minutes of crazy rocky track on foot). It's better to use Falassarna Beach, which is nice and reachable. Our apartment was a bit old and small but clean. The swimming pool is smaller than it looks in the pics but unusual and nice for the kids. Almost always empty and ready to welcome you. The host is very friendly, as are the staff. Home-cooked local cuisine in the evening is a wonderful addition to the hospitality. There are many goats, sheep, and cats in the area. Very rural location, which is what we expected though

Property was an amazing,something different from an ordinary boxed hotels rooms,the kid’s love it,swimming pool was beautiful and spotless clean,definitely we visit again.

The private pool and the quietness was perfect. It's a small hotel and it's very secluded, so no noisy neighbors around. A car is recommended, if you want to see some of the bigger cities/attractions.

Phenomenal private swimming pool and exterior facilities. Unique and quirky design interesting. Georges and the staff always on hand and nothing too much to ask. Perfect location to explore the west of Crete. Highly recommend, we all loved our stay here.
