An amazing venue. Basic, but very clean and has everything you need for one night stay. It was cold when we arrived so we turned on the radiators and the entire house was nice warm in 15 minutes. We stayed there for one night in April. The house number 5 was just perfect for 5 of us (2 adults + 3 kids age 8, 15 and 17). And has a lovely view. Thank you very much!

Amazing place. The cottage was in a perfect condition, clean, modern, a lot of facilities e.g. oven, hair dryer, stove, fridge. Very comfortable bed. Also, the cottage was well isolated from wind. It exceeded our expectations a lot!

The cottage has everything you might need: a little kitchen with fridge and even a dishwasher, a small bathroom with shower and hot water. The bedroom is comfy and the views from the windows are incredible

It’s a nice stop when you do the tour of the island. Very quiet and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The surroundings are amazing with beautiful landscapes and the best place to see the northern lights

Stayed in cottage #4 with the loft. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook up a meal. Great location - not far from Vik and just off the Ring Rd. Wish we were able to stay longer - arrived in the dark in a blizzard and left in the early morning hours in the dark. Would definitely stay here again!

In the middle of nowhere, yet easily accessible by car (even in winter). Beautiful surroundings, very quiet, great place to see the northern light. The house itself is decently sized for 4 people (we stayed with 2 so more than enough space). The four beds are very comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly and the tv even allowed streaming. Kitchen is limited but has all basic necessities like pots and pans, cutlery and a coffee maker, note; there is no extractor hood/fan, so beware that if you are cooking you open a window. Bathroom was basic but complete and functioning. Overall the house was very nice, it all looks pretty basic nothing fancy, but it works well and is very comfortable. Best value for money you can get in area! *tip: look for the lock pincode they send you, not the one Booking gives you because that is not the correct one. (Host was quick to help us out)

The cottage is exceptionally clean, warm, and well-equipped. It has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Its location is perfect for witnessing the Northern Lights, situated in a secluded, tranquil area that offers breathtaking views of the stunning surrounding landscape. We felt completely at ease and thoroughly enjoyed our time, embracing the beauty of the Icelandic winter to the fullest. We highly recommend this cottage! Maximum rating! 🌟

Jacuzzi with a view. Hot water springs are everywhere in Iceland but having one with such a view makes up for all the things that we may miss from the place. Adequate towels, clean bed linens and decent kitchen with utensils is all that we expected and was delivered. Yes, it's a bit dated but that was the charm of the place. Besides we were there for a short duration and didn't care the decor. The dining room and table was huge for our big group of 8 people to socialise over dinner.
