We stayed in a cabin which was very nice but the armchairs were not as pictured and not very comfortable and this was the main sitting area. The bathroom does not have a window so you are reliant on an extractor fan and there was a strange smell in the cabin and lingered for the stay. We enjoyed the Husky ride but it was incredibly expensive for 40 mins ( I have done this before for much less and longer rides ) £360 for 2 people sharing one sled.

I loved it, wasn’t expecting to originally book into the ice rooms as I just went with the cheaper accommodation available. I booked a nights accommodation with breakfast, I wasn’t expecting transport from hotel in Kirkenes and back to cruise terminal. Nor an a La carte 3 course meal for dinner. It was a great experience, took in what we were shown at the dinner of what to do for a warm night of sleep. Tip make sure you get a sleeping bag with a zipper not Velcros as I heard a lady at breakfast saying that her velcros kept coming undone. I had a really warm night of sleep. The scenery was postcard worthy. I would stay here again. Sorry unable to upload photos, app isn’t closes out when I try.

All the staff were very friendly. Dinner was very good. Having the huskies close by, the use of the slide mats and snow shoes was good. My wife slept well but me not so much in the snowhotel. Well worth the experience but.

Whilst sleeping in an arctic quality sleeping bag in a hotel made of ice and snow at minus temperatures was certainly an experience, the sharing of all facilities including luggage storage and change areas with all other guests was uncomfortable and at times chaotic. No bags can be taken to your icy sleeping room. Access to your room is only after the paying day tourists have left the hotel. Paying day tourists have access to view the shower room, toilets, sauna and luggage storage rooms all while being potentially used by paying overnight guests.

Great facilities, activities & enjoyed the food. Saw the Aurora which was a bonus. Also enjoyed the Sami talk, feeding the reindeer & Goren taking us on a brilliant snowmobile ride.

Food was great. The whole experience of sleeping on an ice bed was great. I slept fine. Wouldn't need to do it again as it's pretty expensive but ok for a one off experience.
