A treasure surrounded by nature in its full glory and beauty. Beautiful changing autumn colours , waterfall and outdoor onsen . Great hospitality and service staff are excellent and friendly. Kaiseki menu is excellent

Although it’s a bit remote, it’s worth a visit. It’s nestled amongst nature and the riverside onsen is just awesome. The kaiseiki dinner meals are top-notch, delicious and exquisitely displayed. The staff service is excellent too and a few of them can converse in English.

The riverside onsen was absolutely fantastic. This was our splash-out night of our whole trip to Japan. We were very well looked after.

The staff were wonderful, especially front desk . No complaints about the food .The rotemburo was lovely ( we are fit and able ....steps might be difficult for some) but the baths in the hotel were more convenient. Easily found off the road close to the waterfall Ebino plateau and hikes close by too ( the reason for our stay. I'd go back no problem.

Excellent Ryokan hotel in the Kirishima Kinkowan park. The staff in general are of a more respectable age, were very capable in using English, extremely hospitable and overall just very charming. The room was spacious, the in-room hot spring was facing towards the forest creating an amazing atmosphere to bath outside. Breakfast and dinner was what you can expect from these types of Ryokan, good overall. The hotel was very quiet, even though it seemed to be fully booked on a weekday.
