Rocklands house is the perfect place to stay in southern Ireland. John seems less like a business owner and more like a dear friend. His knowledge of the area and suggestions on places of interest led to some new surprises and made our itinerary even better. John's dedication to ensuring his guests are happy makes the experience well worth it for any visit to this beautiful area.

Very friendly, warmth and enjoyable place to be, close to downtown but in the middle of the nature with a breathtaking landscape view of Kinsale. For sure John and his cat Simba made us feel at home in a very special way. Thanks a lot!

The view is exceptional, the breakfast superb. The room while small was just fine. John is an excellent host. His guest hall is warm and inviting, great for social interaction.

John the host was amazing! Catered to our every need. Even took us into town in his car to save us waking. Love him. Room was good, clean and had an amazing view. Breakfast was incredible for the price.

The host and staff were welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. The views from the property were lovely. The property is an easy 20 minute walk to restaurants and pubs and makes for a convenient location for walking and exploring the area.
