Beautiful, serene and private location. Gorgeous green views and large acreage that my pooch could run around on. Very relaxing getaway. Pool temperature was perfect.

Tropical Costal Retreat is the perfect getaway for serious R and R. My precious hound and I loved it.

The accommodation was on acreage but still near enough to Kingscliff for the restaurants and beach. The fact that there were only 3 units was great, it made it very private. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We were able to take two dogs which was great. The pool was clean and inviting.

Good location, nice and quiet. Nice temperature in the pool. Room to cook meals and do washing. About 20 minutes drive to either kingscliff or cabarita beaches. Staff are on site and absolutely lovely. Great views walking around the property, cows and horses can be seen from the perimeter.

The location, seclusion, tranquillity and accessibility to a well maintained natural environment is beyond comparison. This property along with the hospitality and dedication of the owners is without question one of the best retreats you could wish for. Especially for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Fabulous property ... amazing gardens and scenery. I was in the first caravan which had a lovely enclosed shady yard with gazebo +chairs / table. Total privacy. The caravan is vintage but has everything you need and the bed was very comfy. Loved that the dogs (2 x dachshunds) could be contained in the small yard (very handy when you went to the bathroom which is about 10m away). The bathroom was very clean with shower, WC , handbasin, and towels. I saw inside the cabins when I arrived (as Veronica gave me a tour of the property and the other guests hadn't come yet). The cabins are modern with fenced in patios for the dogs but to be honest, the caravan had much more privacy and the enclosed yard with grass was perfect. So I would book the caravan again over a cabin (even with the walk to the bathroom!). The swimming pool was lovely. But my most favourite like of the property is that you could take the dogs off leash and walk around everywhere. The dogs just loved it. The owners Rick and Veronica were very helpful and are obviously dog people. I never knew the Tweed Hinterland was so stunning and will definately be back for a return visit.

Beautiful location with great landscaping and spectacular views. The lawn was in great condition and perfect for the dog to run around on. Each room had a secure fence/enclosure for the dogs. Dogs are free to roam off leash, the grounds are well maintained and fenced to ensure their safety.

The shower and toilet were modern and spotlessly clean. It was pleasant to awaken to the sound of birds, instead of the roar of passing traffic.
