Excellent location, very helpful & kind staff & owner family, they helped us with everything from arranging whale shark snorkling, advising of things to see around the island, arranging for a doctor when I got sick. You can ask for anything and they will arrange for you.

The rooms were very large and nice, high ceilings and cute balcony. The bathrooms were good. Our room and aircon and a fan which was great. The staff were kind and friendly. The beach view was very nice as well as the gardens.

Right on the beach, perfect for swims and walks. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We got a lovely family room with air conditioning and late check out which allowed us to shower after snorkelling. We could organise all trips from the hotel at quite reasonable prices. For New Years Eve they organised dinner on the beach which was v special

We found this lodge online and booked for 9 days. After a fantastic welcome we were offered the traditional bungalow on the beach, but could choose others that were available. The lodge is right on the beach and is a “barefoot” resort, sand right up to your veranda. We wanted to dive with the whale sharks, snorkel and scuba dive and the lodge delivered on all accounts. What really made our stay was the team, including the two Moodys (we called them the moody blues) and the wonderful team from the restaurant and boutique. Massages are also available. They all treated us like family and there was nothing they would not do to make our stay amazing. All our diving and snorkeling trips were organised, and we could add all the costs to our account and pay on departure. The whale sharks were amazing and the island snorkeling and beach BBQ incredible. We also ate on the beach in front of a beach fire. The fishing boats are right in front of you. There are also two resident black cats (Vladimir) who added to our family experience. Hassan, the owner, was very discreet, super friendly and professional leaving his team to happily look after us. Mafia is a small island, very laid back, and these guys do not have mass tourism, they just made our stay amazing. Well done!

We really loved our stay here. The staff is very accomodating and helpful and the fresh seafood was wonderful everyday. The beach is quiet and beautiful to go for a swim.

it’s private, spacious and fits well with the nature. The bed is comfortable, staff vas very nice and yummy food. There is a choice of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner and fresh fruits available. Th ask pretty much all what we eaten the whole time and was really delicious. There is also a bar and bed hammocks which was great for relaxing. Hassan the host Organise a whale shark tour for us which we really enjoyed as that was the main reason. for visiting Mafia.
