The staff were helpful and friendly. We also appreciated their assistance in arranging activities and a driver. The place itself is rather quiet and just a short walk from Lake Kivu. The room we booked was nice and spacious, with a very simple attached bathroom.

From the lodge you get some fine views on the lake and it is a place that allows you to relax. WiFi was good, but signal strength depends on your location on the premises - the nearer to the main building, the better. We liked the food they served and the prices were fair. Staff was very friendly.

A stunning location, set overlooking Lake Kivu with lush views of the lake below us. Doesn’t get any better! The photos do not do this place justice - we found a gem and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The manager was very helpful. With heavy rain beating on the tent i booked, she moved me to a room at no extra cost. The location was pleasant, with a short walk to the lakeside.

love what the lodge stands for and how friendly the team are on the ground. for the price that you paying it is excellent place to stay! food was great, fresh and very tasty. location to the lake is perfect and there is a guide to take you on tours If you want that. all round great place.

Pleasant young receptionist, very helpful. I was able to use the wifi in the dining area to work on my laptop. What a charming town--please note that there's a walking path that makes a shortcut back to town, only about half an hour walk.
