We had a wonderful stay at this lodge. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we really appreciated the freedom to hike and explore the area at our own pace. There are many lovely spots to sit and relax, and our cottage had a beautiful view, including of the small waterhole. There are plenty of other activities on offer too – we chose to visit the nearby San rock paintings, which felt authentic and refreshingly untouristy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming – in particular Asser, who was a brilliant host in the restaurant and had a great sense of humour. The food was delicious and generously portioned. If you want to have dinner on top of the plateau with it stunning views, be sure to book in advance. Otherwise you can walk up for sundowners. All in all, a truly relaxing and enriching experience. Good value. Highly recommended!

Amazing lodge and landscapes. The best hotel we did in the last few years Tips : have dinner in the restaurant at the top of the mountain and go up before the sunset so that you can have a drink and see the sunset before dining
