“Feel at home in Khajuraho”

Karma Hostel is run by one of the nicest families ever. You arrive and feel at home straight away From the hostel it’s just 10 minutes by foot to the Khajuraho Temples, but it’s not on the Main Street, so it’s quiet enough. The surroundings are very safe. Through the hostel I also booked a safari in the Panna Reserve and it was great!

The place is great value for money, the rooms are clean. The beds are quite comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Raj is quick to assist with anything you need. Our train was delayed and be coincidence we were on the same train as Raj and another guest. Raj came by to talk about sharing a cab instead of staying in the very delayed train. This helped us tremendously and caused us to arrive at least 6 hours earlier. Very helpful host family and social place to meet other traveler’s. Definitely the best value for money place we stayed!

Welcome to The Karma Hostel Looks like Heaven but smells like Hell Where peaceful sleep transforms to yells And every bed has its own smell“ Ah, the pinnacle of luxury! Our stay at this budget establishment was nothing short of memorable. Who needs hot water when ice-cold showers are so invigorating? The decor was delightfully organic, with slimy walls and bedding adorned in a charming masterpiece of mystery stains. Cold? Penguins would feel right at home here. Let’s not forget the nighttime entertainment. A symphony of shouting, banging, car horns and barking dogs. Five stars for anyone seeking an authentic budget Indian experience!” Can’t wait to not come back!” We only paid €9 a night, so didn’t expect much but you really get what you DONT pay for!
