Beautiful location, right in centre of village. Clean and comfortable. Lady serving breakfast was lovely and gave us tips on places to visit. Overall, lovey stay and would go back.

Lovely helpful staff, good food at reasonable prices, great selection of beer and wine. Breakfast options were great, but I would have liked fresh coffee not a flask, plus yoghurt instead of milk, possibly porridge on request - but everything served was good. Rooms were very dog friendly and warm, but pillows were really hard and thin, and nescafe coffee sachets are just disgusting. Good shower with plenty of hot water at all times.

Delicious and hearty breakfast. Lovely evening meals, perfectly cooked both the tender and tasty lamb shanks, huge succulent battered fish and the beautiful fresh vegetables all from the local area. Lovely decor, contemporary and cosy. Nicely combines a feeling of a welcoming and friendly local village pub and a comfortable country hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, very welcoming, thoughtful and went the extra mile to make our stay relaxed, easy and comfortable. They accommodated the folding wheelchair with no bother. Peaceful, quiet bedrooms. Very comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Lovely location. All round very attractive place to stay. We can't wait to go again.

The location was ideal for our needs lovely quiet little village We had a beautiful meal on the evening compliments to the chef it was excellent We did not have breakfast it was £20 per person which we felt was expensive The staff were very pleasant and helpful
