Comfortable, spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Beds were comfortable, duvet covers were fine but duvets poor and very old.

Brilliant location, quiet yet close to shops and restaurants. A short walk to Derwent Water and easy to access via public transport - bus stop 10 minutes away. Towels, plates, cutlery etc are provided. Lots of books, DVDs, games etc for a rainy day that we didn’t use as we were lucky with the weather. Comfortable and clean.

Our 2nd time staying at Alvamere and we're already booked in for September. Excellent base for running and walking. 5 minute walk into Keswick centre. House is well equipped and cosy.
