Excellent and varied breakfast. I had porridge and fruit and toast and an egg florentine For dinner, my husband had a very good steak pie filled with meat and the most amazing gravy. I had a very tasty courgette soup with roll and butter. We sat very close to the fire which was lovely and warming.

Lovely decor . Very stylish. We Moved on here from dissapointing old pub hotel on Thirlmere and this was such a welcome change. Super comfortable bed. Nice linen etc. Lovely meal in restaurant. Lovely breakfast

Recently refurbished to a very high standard, really bright and modern, very accommodating staff. Breakfast (included with our booking) was superb with a wide choice. The dinner menu was also offering a variety of options although I thought this was a little pricey. That said we ate there twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
