Lovely location, facilites and the view fork the garden is great! Special thanks to Pauline, she was brilliant my whole stay. Great local knowledge and very welcoming. Always good to have such a friendly and chatty person on reception. Hope to stay again!

This place was perfectly placed for walking the fells and visiting the wonderful town of Keswick. We arrived one day early and stayed in the hotel which was great, amazing view of the lake. We then moved to an apartment for the rest of our stay.This was so comfortable,warm and cozy.It was well equipped.Staff so helpful.We will return.Thank you .

Ideal base for visiting Keswick and the northern Lake District. My room was surprisingly large and warm, had a very comfortable bed, a bath and a view of Derwentwater. The breakfast offered a wide choice of hot and cold food. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and despite the exceptionally cold weather, they couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay a pleasant experience.

For £44 for a single room that was upgraded to a double, this was exceptional value for money. The bed was comfy and the food was good. It is tired and needs an update but given what I paid I can’t fault it. The staff were lovely and the fact I could take my dog with me was great. It’s £10 for a dog and £5 for parking. Great value and I will definitely stay again.

amazing grounds stretching to the lake, bedroom was nice. Staff were great Rooms were a bit cool in the evening, however I didn't notice a what may have been a small heater, and it was the coldest night for a long time.

The location was second to none, a two minute stroll to the end of the garden and you're on derwent waters, if you're lucky to have a lakeside view it's phenomenal. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. And your puppies are welcome, although we didn't take ours. 10 minute drive to amenities in Keswick. Very close to Buttermere and the notorious Newlands Pass and Honister Pass, water water everywhere I'd deffo go back. Lovely little garden too, i bet it's stunning in the summer.
