The hotel is a lovely building with beautiful rooms. It’s well looked after. It’s clean and the beds are comfortable. I am very much a girl who likes her one creature comforts at home and often longs to go home when I’m on a trip but I could have happily stayed in the Coledale Inn much longer. The rooms are warm, cosy and very homely. There is food served until 9pm in the bar area. The food is nice and great portions. I also liked that staff put trust in their customers by allowing you to pay at the end of your stay and to add anything you buy at the bar on your tab. Lastly, I’m from Liverpool and quite often I come across those who judge my accent but I didn’t feel that from the staff. They were all very polite and friendly. Thank you.

The room (room 1) was immaculate and more of a suite than a room. Separate lounge area and very spacious bedroom. Small bathroom but again, immaculate and the shower was powerful and hot. The food we had (steak pie) was amazing. Large portions and tasted beautiful. Good selection of beers and ales. The fire was roaring in the bar and lounge and the atmosphere was nice and chilled. Staff can't do enough to help and we'll definitely be back again.

Everything was perfect. It was our first stay, and we chose this hotel because they allowed dogs to stay. The room was spacious, the whole hotel was cosy welcoming, and very clean.

Traditional style hotel with friendly staff. The inclusive breakfast is very generous. The hotel is well positioned for walls and visiting places of interest nearby.
