Very nice hotel right in the centre of Keswick. Spacious room and very clean. We ate in the hotel one night and both the food and service were excellent. Special mention for the breakfasts which were exceptional. Front of house could not be more friendly or helpful. Would highly recommend to other guests.

Skiddaw was as we expected. Fortunate enough to park in hotel car park. Met by a very friendly concierge/check in clerk. Room was even better than expected due to what seemed recent bathroom renovation. We had a wander around the "locals" in Moot square so unfortunately didn't use your excellent conservatory bar. Sadly woken up by the council wagon in what seemed to be the middle of the night, dropping off market equipment. BUT this is NOT the hotels fault. Superb breakfast put us in a very happy mood. Evening meal was perfect, food, wine & lovely, hard working staff & to be fair, not over priced. Check out was simple. Thank you

All the food was exceptional. The breakfast was amazing , could not finish it. The location was bang in the middle of Keswick square, couldn't have been better. We had a room over looking the main square on the first floor. Amazing room.
