Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Great selection of different things. The area in branthwaite was amazing and there was a lovely pub around the corner with a few restaurants to choose from If you didn’t want to go into Keswick.

Phil and Helen made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and comfortable with tea, coffee making facilities and very warm. The breakfasts were excellent with a choice of a full English or cereals/toast. We visited 2 local pubs for evening meals which were both within 10 mins. walking distance which Phil directed us to. We can definitely recommend Hermiston and will be revisiting at sometime in the future. 🙂

The place was spotless, and the beautiful decor made it feel so cozy and welcoming. The location was also perfect, with stunning views from our room. We had a great time chatting with Phil and his friendliness really made us feel welcome. Food was delicious and freshly prepared by Helen every morning — made us really feel at home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious breakfast. Ten out of ten. On time and excellent service. The guesthouses location was spot on. Plenty of facilities within walking distance and easy access to attractions and beauty spots.

Hermiston Guest House was in a perfect location to places of interest. There are restaurants within walking distance of the house. The hosts Phil & Helen were very welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area and made suggestions of places of interest. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had an ensuite and the scenery out of the window was breathtaking.
