Great location and easy parking. Good view from room. Lovely friendly staff. Old fashioned service and facilities. Comfortable bed. Plentiful tea/ coffee making facilities. Nice garden and seats/ tables to sit outside on sunny day. Can leave car and walk straight from hotel to many good walks in the area.

The hotel was very nice, the public lounges were modern and very well decorated. The bedroom was large, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, a lovely hotel would recommend it.

Loved the spacious bedroom, lounge area and gardens . Location was fantastic just a short walk through the park to the town. Restaurant dining was really good

This was our second stay at this hotel & we will certainly be returning. Staff on reception, in the dining room & the bar were all really polite & friendly. Excellent choice at breakfast. Although busy, staff were quick to replenish items ensuring a smooth service. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the garden with fabulous views. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a great place for visiting Keswick & Borrowdale with plenty of walks on the doorstep. Would highly recommend.

All well Breakfast : so much choice to suit everyone`s taste Dinner: very varied menus each evening plenty of choice Room: Number 218 very good would have liked adjustable shower height.
