Overall , enjoyed the stay and Kentisbury Grange , but rooms were nice and good value for money. Staff were very helpful and enjoyed food in the restaurant and accommodated our dog which was fantastic.

Nice peaceful location. Place has character. We were in Room 5 in the main building. Originally in Room 11, but the lovely Olivia moved us at our request. Room 5 is lovely with a dual aspect. It is in the corner and is quiet. It has a large bathroom with underfloor heating and a large freestanding bath. Breakfast was adequate with some good options. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked the grange for our 49th wedding anniversary, and had a cottage suite with breakfasts included. The cottage was fantastic, very clean, well equipped and a lovely comfortable bed. No complaints there. Breakfast menu was good, although considering the grange is rated 4 star, I felt that the choices were a bit lacking compared to other places we have stayed that were 4 star and even 3 star. The evening menu didn't have many choices, but was adequate. Not really up to a 4 star standard though . The service and staff were superb! A real asset to the grange! Very helpful, friendly and cannot be faulted. We took our jack russell with us and he was welcomed as were we. While at the grange I wandered around the grounds and did notice that quite a few of the lodges were in a poor state of repair, and some areas needed some tlc. It was an enjoyable stay, but I do think it's not really presenting as a 4 star, maybe once, but now more like a three star and still with 4 star prices. I would still recommend a stay here. As previously stated, the staff are excellent.

The cottage suite was lovely and very comfortable . Our 4th stay here and as good as the first time spent here. A big shout out for Nick who went above and beyond to help us.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds in a quiet country setting. We were there for a reunion with a large group of friends. The lounge in the hotel building meant that we were all able to meet up away from the restaurant. It was perfect for what we wanted. Food was delicious.

Evening meal on the Sunday was excellent, lovely roast beef from a local farm. Staff very helpful, brought us extra water for the table without being asked. Rooms spacious and well equipped.
