It had stunning views across the bay and was an easy walk into town which was also pretty. Lots of great places to eat and drink in Kenmare. There were nice walks near the house too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the host was fabulous.

This is a very nice place, comfortable with an air of times past which is very charming. A very warm welcome by the lady of the house made me happy on a very wet evening. I had a very pleasant overnight and a mighty good breakfast in the morning. I even learnt a little about the history of the house which is quite interesting.

Perfect location with stunning views of Kenmare Bay and a short walk to town. Lovely old country house with fascinating history. Friendly proprietor greeted us on arrival. Good breakfast.

Lovely welcome and brought directly to the room. Huge room with large bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. Tea/coffee making and TV in the room which was great. Lovely choice of breakfast the next morning a beautiful dining room. And I got to take home some lovely homemade bread from the owner.

Warm welcome to this period property where all furnishings and fittings in keeping with the 200 year old house. Fabulous breakfast with homemade soda bread and raspberry jam to die for.

Hannah who runs Muxnaw was amazing, she couldn’t have been more helpful, lovely, chatty. The house is in a great location, it’s a lovely 10minute walk from the centre of kenmare. Kenmare is beautiful. Excellent breakfast, lovely spacious room.
