Yvonne was so helpful and very welcoming. She gave us a recommendation on where to eat and it was really nice. Although we only stayed for a night it was a comfortable night. We also like the fact that there's a river outside the guest house. We definitely recommend Yvonne's place.

Lyndhurst guest house is totally amazing, we were in room 3, it was perfect, the host, Yvonne can't help you enough, she is very accommodating, it is a short walk to town with plenty of places to eat and drink, we loved the little personal touches, there is a little map in the room that shows you all the take aways, pubs and restaurants in town, it has a lovely view over the river and there is no issue parking near the guesthouse. We will definately be going back

It's a lovely place in a great setting next to the river. Clean, homely and Yvonne and Laura are great hosts. Not forgetting the furry resident, Scout the dog. Breakfast was great and very varied and there were homemade biscuits in the room😋 Next time I'm in Kendal I'll definitely stay here again.

The room was great. The host was so helpful and a lovely approachable person. I highly rate this place and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District. My room was fantastic, location great and the host was exceptional.

Location is great over the river. Host is charming and has made the venue her own, based on her passions. It isn’t modern, it is quirky and lots of things are well worn (it doesn’t detract from the lovely experience) lt is also very clean and extremely good value for money. Comfortable bed and a great nights sleep. Communication superb and easy to check in and out. Will return if in the area.

I was very happy with my stay at Lyndhurst Guest house, it has such a homely feel, superb location, cleanliness and an added bonus of a flowing river right outside my window. You get an sms every morning from the hostess asking after your well being and if you require any top ups! I highly recommend it. I will surely use the place again when next I visit Kendal.
