Wendy and Richard were very welcoming. The location is excellent and so central. The room I had on the top floor had gorgeous views across town to the fells. Breakfast was delicious and good selection of fruit and yogurts too. Thank you.

Very convenient location within walking distance of the main shopping street. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The room had tea/coffee-making facilities. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. They accommodated my late arrival and slightly later departure with no issues. They were very helpful in providing taxi information before my arrival. The breakfast was very good. It consisted of a breakfast bar containing oats/muesli, a selection of yoghurts and preserves, and a cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was excellent the bedroom was superb the only problem was the steep slope to get there but once you got there it was very good

Richard was a friendly and helpful host. The place was spotlessly clean, the room spacious and I had a really comfortable and quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with plenty on offer. I would absolutely recommend Hillside B&B to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kendal.
