Was a relatively cheap place to stay at while i got stuck in Kempsey for the day. Basic room set up nothing fancy. Really awesome Bar tenders, they make the place feel much warmer

Good things: - recently renovated hotel, room & share facilities - everything was very clean & neat - fresh new linen, king size towels & individual bath mats provided - individual shampoo, conditioner & body wash supplied - comfortable beds, nice share kitchenette & sitting area - lock up parking - friendly staff - well priced pub food & drinks

Clean and had a good sleep, not far from the main street. There was an little indoor playground at the back.

Nice clean room. Air-conditioning was great. The bistro fillet Mignon was top class and really friendly staff.

The rooms were good, very clean and comfortable beds, the ceiling fan in our room only went one speed and it was very slow, barely moving. The aircon didn’t work in our room, however we did have a very nice cool breeze through the window switched cooled the room down. While checking out, there was an aircon company there fixing the aircons so hopefully that’s been rectified. Keep in mind they have communal bathrooms, so if that’s not your thing, wouldn’t recommend. However bathrooms were all new and very clean and we were really happy with the facilities. Shared Fridge, seating area, washer and drier. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was so good, really generous servings, very tasty. The play area was great and was one reason why we chose to stay, as we have a toddler. Although, we did not take into consideration that the rooms were right above the pub/bar and the music didn’t stop till after midnight. Which wasn’t great having driven 6hrs to get there and we had another 5hrs to drive the following day.. We would have liked a good nights sleep especially with a 2yr old.

It was basic but clean. A little bit of noise came through from the pub below but nothing really major as it was a quiet night at the pub.

Conveniently walking distance to everything including thetrain station, bistro downstairs was exceptional and well worth the money
