The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that The Imperial Hotel will collect a refundable deposit upon booking. The hotel will contact the guests directly with collection methods.

My 2nd stay. I booked 2 double rooms. Given the 3rd level as requested but the room was easily warmed up, maybe was on top floor. It took the air-con long time to cool the room. The table space in my room was very limited. The wall space below the TV could put in a side table or build-in to the wall. Because the other room has a long table on full stretch of the window side.

the location is great. easy access to anywhere and the room is comfortable. bed can fit 3 adult but its a tight fit. have 7 eleven next to the hotel in case you want to buy any snacks.
