Perfect place to stay near Kelimutu. The staff were very kind and friendly, bed was comfy, shower was good with warm water and good presure, breakfast in the garden with fruits and banana pancake 😊

Mahony was a great stay for us. We were here for 4 nights. It has a nice clean room, chairs outside on a porch, a clean bathroom, and nice hosts to back it up. However, it is not a 10. Here are some tips to make it a 10: I subtracted 2 points for the breakfast. We could not choose what we got for breakfast, which was quite annoying. The last 3 days, we got 'omelette': 2 eggs as an omelette and some fruit. No veggies through the omelette, no bread. The breakfast had no fibers, and we were still craving food aftwrwards. I subtracted another point for various things: - The bedroom has no fan or AC, so I would've wanted a muscito net. It was not there. - There is no toilet roll hanger. In a bathroom where the floor is also the shower floor, this would be an easy improvement. - There is no wifi (much of moni has no wifi, but still, the restaurant next door has wifi). - There is no easy free opportunity to refill water bottles. We asked the host at breakfast, but its not endless refilling options. If all these points were met, it wouldve easily been a 10. I would've also paid more if these things were fixed. Water costs money, but the large cannisters costs 20-30k and wouldve lasted us for the entire 4 nights easily. I'd gladly pay 7k a night for free water refills. Anyhow, good stay, could be much better with some simple improvements.

Good comfortable room, spacious and clean. Shower is good. Breakfast was included.
