The fine print
Please note that when travelling from Skipton, leave the town via the A629 for Keighley. When you reach Kildwick join the A629 Trunk Road at the roundabout (2nd exit) you can go right on the next roundabout (3rd exit) and proceed to the T juction, taking left at the traffic lights on to the B6265 for Keighley. Before reaching the town, the Dalesgate Hotel is on your left hand side in approx 1.6 miles.Guests should approach from Haworth & Halifax on the A629, heading for Keighley. As you reach the town, at the first roundabout, take the second exit then go left at the traffic lights on to North Street. Go straight forward at the next lights (Carnegie Library is on your left) through the town to Skipton. When you reach the next roundabout go straight forward, (1st exit) on to B6265 for Skipton. The Hotel is then on your right at Utley in about 0.8 of a mile.If approaching from Lancashire, take sharp left as you reach the end of Cross Hills Main Street and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A629 Trunk Road.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Instructions for access were clear and worked well. Never imagined there'd be Netflix available in my room. Delighted with the upgrade from a single to double room. Lots of drawers and hangers for clothes if you were staying any length of time.

Accomodation was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional, with a very good range of continental & a very nice selection of cooked breakfasts, looked after by a very friendly & efficient staff member. We recommend this hotel highly.

The Dalesgate Hotel has a self- check in/key code entry system, which means that there are no staff about during the day. However, they are always contactable if required and it was good not to have to carry keys around. The staff who were on duty at breakfast were excellent - so pleasant and friendly. There was a good selection of breakfast options and the hot breakfasts were freshly and excellently cooked and very generous. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was serviced and we were given fresh towels every day. The hotel is very good value for money and we would certainly book there again.

Effortless self-checking in process, and the rooms with breakfast represent unbelievable value..A nearby bus stop gets you into Keighley if you don't want to take the car. We used it to visit the steam railway and will be back to do the same next month. Off road parking is available round the back of the hotel. The breakfast was great, and the lady who served us was very helpful and pleasant

The property was a great little find for a 2 night stay in the area. It was well located to get to nearby Ilkley and Skipton and had a number of nice sites near it such as Cliffe Castle and the surrounding park. The breakfast was very good and very generous in size. This was the only time we saw the staff and owner both of whom were very kind and friendly. The room was spacious and the beds comfy (although a little too soft for my liking but that’s just personal preference). The bathroom was also nice and had a bath which was a bonus.

lovely breakfast, worth the money, staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and had amenities for our stay. Parking was a plus, great location and information to access was well detailed.
