Hotel Overview

Wallawwa is a restored colonial manor house siting on 3 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, only 15 minutes drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. This peaceful retreat features an outdoor pool, a pampering spa and yoga pavilions.
Spacious and well-designed, the air-conditioned rooms all feature a Balinese four-poster bed and a flat-screen TV. A personal safe and tea/coffee making facilities are included. Bathrooms have relaxing rainshowers.
Wallawwa is a 30-minute drive from the beaches and fish markets of Negombo. It is also a 30-minute drive from Muthurajawela Wetlands. Colombo City is an hour's drive away. Free parking is available.
Z Spa provides a selection of massage treatments and other beauty therapies. Guests can read a book in the library. Room service is provided 24 hours.
Nestled within the gardens, The Verandah serves Asian fusion cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients. Vegetarian options can also be arranged.

Location was perfect for the last two days of our 2 week long trip in Sri Lanka. A great place to chill and do yoga, have exceptional massages, eat the most delicious food before your long flight home. There is nothing much to see in the very local area so it really is a place to 'land' and settle either when you arrive in Colombo Airport or are leaving from it.

Beautiful property and gardens with an old colonial feel. It was a shame we could only stay one night. The breakfast was exceptionally excellent and the staff in the restaurant very friendly.

Beautiful colonial house, very large rooms and bathrooms, excellent food for dining and breakfasts, large garden with beautiful swimming and nice spa. Staff is extremely friendly and professional and helpful. Everything was perfect!

Beautiful boutique hotel close to the airport (but you’d never know). They had a fairly extensive menu considering this is not a big property and it was delicious. The staff were exceptional and we loved our stay of three nights here. They had complimentary afternoon tea and drinks every afternoon which was a fabulous touch, which you took on the veranda. The kids played croquet on the lawn while we’d have a G&T and then return for a board game with us. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

Lovely property in close proximity to Colombo International Airport. 18-room boutique hotel with high-ceiling rooms and fabulous verandas and a nestled-away pool area. The packed breakfast to facilitate our crack-of-dawn getaway was a lovely touch... The staff overall was most accommodating...
