Hotel Overview

200 meters from Katoomba Train Station, The Carrington offers elegant accommodation in a heritage-listed refurbished manor. It features fine dining and casual dining options, multiple bars and a performance space.
Rooms at The Carrington hotel have classic ambience and décor. They all include tea and coffe- making facilities. Some rooms offer city views or open out onto a balcony; others are equipped with a spa bath.
Old City Bank Bar & Brasserie offers informal dining with pastas, steaks and gourmet burgers. Champagne Charlie’s serves cocktails and other drinks. The Grand Dining Room is open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday plus extra nights during school holidays and Long Weekends.
Located in the Blue Mountains area, guests can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities, hiking and trekking in the natural surroundings. Free private parking is available on site.

The room was quite spacious with a lovely bed and beautiful furniture and bathroom was clean and tidy. I loved the food at the restaurant - had dinner there for the two nights I was staying - delicious dishes and fantastic wines & desserts! :) The service from the staff was excellent from the bar & restaurant and generally in the hotel. The location of the hotel was very convenient - very close to Katoomba Station and bus stops so easy for me to get to Scenic World and Leura.

Location excellent, grand old hotel from 1880. Comfortable, pleasant staff, super undercover car parking, good breakfast, large open verandas excellent for entertaining friends for lunch

The Carrington is one of my favourite places to stay. Old world ambience (from the interiors to the service to the music); very clean & comfortable; lovely cocktails and lounges to sit and read a book by the fire.
