I loved my stay at the Timber house. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing. All staff were very helpful and attentive specially Kishan Bhai who took care of us in the restaurant on both days.

We stayed here before our trek in Lukla and were so impressed with the experience that we returned after our trek. Unfortunately, one of our group members required surgery at a nearby hospital. Timber House went above and beyond to help us during this time. They arranged taxis, checked in on us daily, and allowed us to keep our room until we were ready to fly home. A special thanks to Ram, who truly went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. I can't recommend this place enough! The food was fantastic, and I loved unwinding at the upstairs bar with great music. Dhanyabad—see you next time!

Top notch hospitality, especially Mr.Ram is very helpful and always solve my issues. I went solo traveling but the entire hotel staffs are so friendly and we become friends. The Heritage room is amazing, location is superb and the rooftop you can see Sunrise and sunset and some Himalayas snow peak. Its a great place to stay! Also the Chef makes the best Dal Bhat! Thank you everyone!

Staffs were superb! Excellent hospitality. Amenities were good and new in condition. The restaurant and bar placements on the rooftops were fantastic and well decorated. Quiet location for a good sleep.

I got a free upgrade to the suite during check-in time. The staffs were excellent! Superb hospitality. Ram, the manager and his team were always helping and cordial to any requirements. Location-wise great hotel.

We stayed a couple of nights before and after our EBC trek in the Timber House. The accommodation is very clean, the rooftop restaurant is epic and the staff is incredibly friendly. I would like to mention Ram, the head of stuff (I guess) of the hotel. He really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. He arranged a taxi to the airport, welcomed us very warmly, and kept in contact with us throughout the whole trek until we got back to Kathmandu. We were even allowed to leave a small baggage there meanwhile we were on the trek. Overall, we had a very good experience, and will definitely stay here once again, if I ever travel to this part of the world again.

Hotel is located in Thali district, close to main tourist attractions, souvenir shops and restaurants. You can find here also pubs and night life which makes this place very noisy. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The stuff is very nice and always helpful. You also have the view on Kathmandus rooftops and Himalayas.
