Hotel Overview

At The Dwarika’s Group of Hotels and Resorts, our ethos is about giving back to our guests, to Nepal, and to the planet – a philosophy that informs all that we do. We hold at our core a deep respect for the cultural and natural heritage of Nepal. The commitment to heritage conservation dates back to 1952. Our actions are always directed toward the restoration, conservation, preservation, and revival of the architectural, cultural, social, and natural heritage of Nepal. In line with these central principles, we constantly endeavor to nurture both people and the planet and to maximize the positive impact that we have on our surroundings and community. As such, with the aim to fulfill our responsibility towards Mother Nature and promote sustainability, the Dwarika’s Group is moving firmly towards an organic lifestyle of zero-waste. Further, by using Nepali design, artifacts, linen, and upholsteries we promote local skills that are inherently Nepali, we seek to revive crafts and cultural knowledge that are indigenous to Nepal. Spa and Bathroom amenities are made in-house in the Pancha Kosha Himalayan Spa drawing inspiration from ancient Ayurveda, Buddhist medicine, and traditional Himalayan Knowledge using Himalayan herbs. We implement and encourage natural, indigenous, and organic agricultural methods in our six eco-organic farms spread across the country hence preserving the environment. Celebrating the abundance that nature has bestowed we make a conscious effort to serve unadulterated, natural, and authentic culinary delights that are pure and natural following the Food Principles of serving organic, seasonal, and less travel food where possible in an effort to make a difference where we can.

This suite has a seating area, tile/marble floor and cable TV. Offering Traditional Nepali hospitality, every suite comes with a diwan (day bed) for guests to lounge on and is fully equipped with amenities. Complimentary WiFi is available. It offers view of the courtyard.

Royal Suite - enter dates to see room photos

The suite is set over three floors with an open air breakfast terrace, a separate living area and an entrance foyer. Featuring traditional Nepali architecture, the private spacious bathroom comes with a walk-in shower and bathtub. Guests can enjoy views of Kathmandu valley from the private terrace attached to the living room. The Suite also has a reception area on the 1st floor that can be provided with a secretarial service, fax and email. Absolutely amazing stays. This hotel is like a small heaven place in the middle, busy and noisy Kathmandu. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely try spa treatments.

You have to get to know dwarika if you’re coming to Katmandú ! Little paradise and peace of mind in the midst of craziness of the city!!! We spend 4 nights here and would love to spend far more time!

We love this Hotel , we stayed 8 nights in the Junior Suite which was absolutely wonderful . Everything every detail from the exceptional food to the kind and thoughtful staff . This would be be one of the best Hotels on the planet

The Dvarika is undoubtedly one of the most memorable luxury hotels i ever stayed at. The tribute to Nepali heritage in the reuse of antique architectural elements, the amazing staff, the gorgeous rooms, the morning yoga class, the food, access to town yet only 10 minutes from the airport......

fabuluous hotel, great place to stay after the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Short taxi ride to Thamel and other touristy locations. close to airport. Great staff. Food and drink service great, food fabulous. Really grateful for the luggage storage.
