Arriving at hotel encounter was such a pleasure, every single staff member greeted us with a smile and a hello which instantly made us feel welcome. Secondly at reception they upgraded us to a bigger room free of charge just because they had the availability which was a nice touch. The room was very spacious and clean and the shower was hot and powerful 24/7. Free water was provided in the room and breakfast was great especially the gentleman serving it, he very so polite.

Good location from the restaurants and shops in Thamel Amazing shower! Just what you need after trekking Helpful staff, guard helped us with our trekking bags up stairs after our trip, All of them spoke great English Very comfortable bed They upgraded us when we arrived to a deluxe room, The included breakfast was lovely

All the staff are very friendly here. You are close to all the action, but far enough away for the whole place to feel really peaceful. The room is a good size and well maintained. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel staff were so friendly, the location is exactly at the centre, felt like home my whole stay. I even extended 3 more nights on the reception as I had to extend my stay.

Good location. Quiet room. Staff were friendly. Short walk to the bars and restaurants of Thamel. If you're not fussy and looking for a short stay, close to the nightlife then it's cheap and cheerful. Don't be expecting luxury for the few euros your paying. Fine breakfast also

Good quiet location just outside noisy Thamel. Amazing view of the city and the mountains from the balcony. Staff were really nice, especially very friendly guy from the restaurant and both men from security. In winter it's quite cold, so you need not just an AC, but also a heater - thankfully provided by the hotel
