Please contact the camp before arrival to Kataragama with an estimated time of arrival to allow the property to give directions to the private parking location or meeting point where guests will be picked up from and shuttled to the camp in a 4x4 vehicle along the Yala National Park.
A separate driver's accommodation is not available on the camp. However if contacted before hand, the property may be able to provide some recommendation or make arrangements.

Please note that the all inclusive package includes full board meals and one half day safari per night. This was a great place to stay to go off and do a few safaris, and the staff really kind and helpful - thanks Ruwan and team for a great stay! The tents were clean, with great Air con and comfy beds. All the food was also really good and lots of delicious Sri Lankan food. We had 2 half day safaris which we added on with Earl, who was an excellent guide and we saw lots. As we were there on New Year's Eve the team also put on a special dinner which was really nice of them and very memorable! Would definitely recommend staying with Camp Leopard

Staff are all incredibly friendly, personable and welcoming, attending to all our needs throughout the stay. Communication was excellent before our arrival, allowing for a very smooth transfer in to the camp from the external pick up point (we used public transport). Camp is very isolated, not within the park itself, but on the boundaries. Facilities are immaculate, tents are far more comfortable than we had anticipated and the food provided at every meal was hearty and delicious. All the meals are good value. The safari experience itself very much comes down to your own expectations and what you may or may not see on each safari. That being said, the camp provides the best experience for you possible and seeks out every opportunity to see as much as possible in the time window provided. Drivers and guides are amazing, very knowledgeable and provide a really professional experience. Can’t recommend highly enough. Bonus: Great dogs on the camp

Great experience of camping/glamping. Dinner setup was superb and the staff provided excellent service to our requests. Ruwan was an excellent camp manager and earl our safari guide was amazing too. Also the booking process of additional items on whatsapp was great.

Beautiful, comfortable tents with their own bathrooms. Definitely glamping rather than camping! The staff were exceptional- couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly. Good food too! We did two safaris - top rate guide and driver. Highly recommend this place!

A super unique stay in the middle of the nature, with nice and comfortable tents given the location. It should be noted that the activity/meal/safari package is selected separately from the fare on this site and in total, it is relatively pricey. However, you get a fully quided safari from guides who are clearly experienced and knowledgeable in what they are doing, pointing out various birds, small animals, habitats, instead of just a driver following other drivers based on reported sightings of this or that creature. As for the meal package, our standard option seemed to skew a bit more towards western than typical Sri Lankan you might imagine, but that may vary depending of the option you choose (they also cater vegan/vegetarian/sensitivities etc). And the dogs and kittens on the camp were simply adorable!

The tent was very comfortable and clean, staff attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. But the best thing was the safaris. Well planned with extremely knowledgeable guides. Especially Mark is a walking encyclopedia of local history, geography and fauna and passed on his enthusiasm for the local wildlife. Thoroughly recommended.
