“Amazing house amongst hills”

Everything was great - beautiful house (we stayed at 2-bedroom house), good facilities, lovely views from terrace, responsive and helpful hosts. Good AC - we stayed there during a heat wave, and AC did the job well. Very tasty food at Maria tavern nearby.

Agathes Traditional Houses is a magnificent place.I wish we could stay longer. It is the best place to explore Apokoronas. The three bedroom apartment is very spacious, well equipped and spotless clean with a beautiful view. It is actually even better than the photos. The staff was amazing, always eager and ready to help. We cannot wait to go back!

The staff could not have been more helpful. The language barrier was worked around with hand gestures and phone calls to central office. Fabulous private accommodation in a gorgeous setting. Not flash, but very comfortable. There are two separate complexes that are run by the same management which was a bit confusing on arrival, but both lovely with beautiful views and great communal pools. Maria's taverna in the village is basic but outstanding hospitality. We really felt that we experienced a little Crete gem.
