It's located close to the beach. The kids enjoyed the on-site pool and our family also enjoyed having their breakfast in the mornings. We also liked the tucked in lobby that made transportation pick-up feel safer for our family relative to what we observed with other hotels around Phuket.

The pool is really great. My kids weren’t really interested in the beach, so we spent a lot of time in the pool. The sun and shade works well with the orientation of the hotel, you can pretty much find sun or shade. The location seemed pretty good from what I saw of Karon. It has a gym which is handy, but it’s a bit tired, and the AC is pretty much dead.

My recent stay at Karon Sea Sands Resort was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was simple and easy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We booked two, Deluxe Double or Twin Room for 3 nights and we had been given adjoining rooms with a pool view, which was perfect for our young family and grandparent. The resort's location is unbeatable as it is just across the road from Karon beach. Our rooms were big, spacious, and clean, with comfortable beds that ensured we had a restful sleep every night. Everything in the room worked. The staff were always on hand to assist us with any requests we had, and they always had a smile on their face, which added to the positive experience. The daily room cleaning was excellent, and we always returned to a spotless room. The pool was just the right temperature and a good depth for all ages, which made it perfect for our family. Although there was no one manning the pool bar during our trip, we were still able to enjoy refreshing drinks and snacks by dialing room service from the pool. The breakfast was delicious, and we loved the fresh fruit and produce that was available, along with the live egg station. While the breakfast could use a bit more variety, it was still enjoyable, and we were satisfied with the overall service. Although there wasn't a restaurant in the resort, we ate from room service almost everyday which was sourced from near by restaurants, the food was authentic, tasty and excellent. Best of all they catered for Halal food! Overall, I highly recommend Karon Sea Sands Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Phuket.
