My room was clean and quiet, with only 4 beds and they weren't bunk beds. The bathroom was clean and new. The kitchen and the terrace were nice. Each traveller has a locker and the key to it. The beds are super comfy. The curtain is thick and blocks the light well. The doors and the passcode locks on them are quiet to open and close. The location is great!

The hostel is situated in an uncharming concrete environment typical of West Germany of the 1970s. However, the location is very close to all central sights in Karlsruhe and many eateries. Rooms have detached beds, large lockers, a desk and stools. The furniture is sturdy, like in a school camp. Walls are bright and occasionally have some decoration. It is clean and has a reasonable kitchen (with very basic or worn equipment). The system for marking food in the fridge is exemplary (separate boxes and stickers provided). There is a terrace, and the option to use a grill (but you must ask reception during its opening hours, so it needs planning). It is run by two Brazilian ladies, who are very open and friendly if you get into talk with them.

Nice location, 2km from the train station. Have to admit a good feedback from the staff, as with my late arrival they sent me all instructions on how to find and get into hotel. Very good.

The location is central in the heart of Karlsruhe, with transport and restaurants just a short distance away. The park and castle are a short walking distance as well. There are amazing staff and it has the best prices as well in the city.
