This first floor, modern appartment is in an excellent location with fabulous views of Ithaca, Sami harbour and surrounding hills and countryside. The main bedroom has a balcony facing the sea. The pool, accessed from the front door of, the building, was always very clean . We had several issues that needed resolving which were very promptly dealt with by Elena, the owner, nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful spotlessly clean villa, really well equipped and with beautiful views over the sea. The pool was wonderful with loungers for us all and kept very clean by the pool man.

The pool was lovely and extremely clean. The views were amazing. 6 sun beds and 3 umbrellas. The apartment was spacious. The hostess Elena was just the best. Nothing was too much trouble. She organised shopping for us on arrival and airport transfers, gave us loads of information about things to do and places to eat etc If we needed a cab she sorted that too. We never had to wait for more than 2 minutes. The villa is in a quiet area. Two tavernas and a cafe. All lovely and within 2 mins walk. A bakery next door which was also nice. No local supermarkets but Sami is only a 10-15 minute walk and Elena will arrange a cab back. The walk along the beach to Sami is very pleasant. Loads of nice restaurants in Sami. All that Elena recommended were good. Especially Art Deco. Paddle boards and pedallo on the beach very close to the villa. You’re also able to use the local hotel but we didn’t take advantage as we loved our pool.

Our host, Elena, was fantastic! She provided her contact number when we arrived and replied instantly throughout the week when we had questions. At the start of the stay she sent us notes on the local area, where the shop was, names of some of the good restaurants and also advised us she owns the hotel 2 minutes away that we were able to use the pool bar if we wanted. The private pool was great with a lovely view down of the water and the pool is south facing so gets the sun all day. The living / kitchen area was massive - there was 5 of us staying and the area was large enough it didn't feel cramped. There was 2 balconies off the main area (and one of the balconies joins with one of the bedrooms) - again plenty of space. The bedsheets and towels were changed over in the middle of the week which was great also. On arrival the fridge was stocked with water, coke and beers which was a really nice touch. Elena arranged transfers to and from the airport for us, to and from the other side of the island for a day trip and also a taxi from the shop back on our first day as it was too much to carry back. We went to a restaurant in the local area one night and most other nights walked along the beach to Sami which was no more than a 20 minute walk and was fine to walk back at night also. The villa itself was amazing, but Elena's care and attention to us really made the week better. We paid late checkout on the last day and unlike a hotel where you get an extra hour we got a couple of extra hours and then transfer arrived for us. However, if we hadn't taken late checkout we were welcome to go down to the hotel, leave our cases and use the pool which would have been ideal also. Would 100% recommend and definitely go back! :)
