It was all good. As expected. Facilities are good value. Excellent t location for Heaphy Track.. No further comment

We stayed in Unit 8, the largest unit. It was country, old fashioned but clean. We had a kitchen so could prepare our own breakfast etc, a dining table , comfy lounge and armchair, tv , adequate power points, wifi, hairdryer and king size bed. There are units either side but it has a long frontage overlooking the lawn. The pub was a 30 metre walk away for other meals, but it’s not a noisy place.

Sadly we arrived in the rain, visited in the rain and left in the rain so this hotel and area was not at its best for us. The staff were wonderful, the beds and shower were amazing. The speciousness of this apartment was appreciated. The meal in the pub was great and the resident cat, Earl, was gorgeous.

Such a great country pub atmosphere. Amazing dinner meals, with gluten free options. Pool table, darts board. On the corner of the "main roads", easy to find from either direction. Super friendly staff. Huge sized rooms. Queen and single bed in one room, 2x singles in another room - all one unit. Little table and chairs outside to eat your breakfast or sit with a coffee. Lots of bird song, and lovely plants.

So peaceful but with great welcome from the hosts. Even had its own tui to watch in the garden. Excellent choice of gluten free food.
