“Amazing stay on Koh Rong”

I highly recommend staying here when on Koh Rong. The room was very clean, the breakfast really good, they offer free SUPs, snorkels, and sun beds, but most notably, the staff is excellent. Additionally, the food (especially the BBQ), was amazing as well.

Amazing staff, the team is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel is finely decorated with beautiful little touches - the music in the lobby is just perfect and sets a warm atmosphere. Great breakfast with fresh healthy foods, and the beach is simply stunning!

Fantastic staff and the resort was very tastefully designed. Our room benefited from a great view of the beautiful bay and beach. The food was delicious but it’s popularity required a table to be booked which guests didn’t always appreciate

My review is for one of the standard rooms on second floor. Bungalows may be different. The hotel is difficult to rate, as it consists of two very different parts, the rooms and the common areas. Our room was extremely basic, small with 2 (comfortable) futon beds on the floor, an open shelf with 3 hangers, safety box and a mini fridge. The bathroom is a wet bath which gets flooded every time someone takes a shower. In short: the room is only good to sleep in. The big pros are the location (right on the beach), the excellent restaurant, the absolutely fantastic breakfast, the comfortable sun beds, the cleanliness and the friendly and attentive staff. I would stay there again anytime.

The food menu is really inclusive with vegetarian options. Food is super fresh and delicious, breakfast was also great including home made jams, yogurts and locally sourced fruits. Location is amazing easy to get around on your own to the snorkel spots, restaurants, shops, hikes and other tour operators. There are bike rentals close by to rent scooters to explore $8 half day $10 full day. The sand on the beach is cleaned for rubbish daily and is the whitest sand we’ve ever seen. The resort takes sustainability seriously with no plastic, safe water refills and no plastic straws, they also are the first resort to be zero waste and recycle. The beach is really safe to swim and nice and calm in the mornings. The staff are really kind and welcoming and met us at the harbour. The dogs and cats on the beach out the front are really gentle and tame and are well looked after. The beds are pretty hard and on the ground futon style and the aircon wasn’t great but did the job. The bathroom is a wet room it could do with some work as everything gets wet and was a bit smelly. Make sure you visit this side of the island it was paradise and super relaxing.

The staff were so attentive and offered phenomenal service throughout our stay. We really appreciated their care and attention. Room was clean, spacious and well air-conditioned. The beach is stunning - one of the best on the Island. Same for food - delicious and varied menu. Having tried other restaurants nearby, we quickly learned the Hotel was the best of the lot. The breakfast choice was superb too. Loved White Sand Ark Resort!

Staff is very friendly (Anna, Igor) and hard working. Breakfast was good. They make also good smoothies from fresh fruits (with reasonable prices).
