The front desk staff were very helpful and proactive about informing us about tourist sites and how to get there etc. The room was very good value for money. I booked a double bedroom. Had good air conditioning and fans and double beds. Clean and well kept aswell

I enjoyed my stay at the Arunachala Inn. Hotel staff was very helpful. My bedroom was very clean and had everything needed for comfortable stay for couple nights: big and comfy bed, hot shower with toilet, electric kettle, ceiling fan and air conditioner, clean towels and soap. Free wi-fi worked very well in the hotel. Complimentary tea and sugar have been provided upon request. Hotel is located within 5-10 minutes of walking distance from the famous Valluvar statue on the island, temple and church, ocean beach, sunrise point. Sunset point was around 2 kilometers or 40 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. Hotel doesn’t provide breakfast or dinner. But it was not a problem. There are a lot of café, restaurants, ATM and market around the hotel. I don’t know for what hotel asks 500 rupees deposit, but after reading negative feedback from foreigners in google, I refused to pay that deposit. In general, I found Arunachala Inn good and safe place to stay for several days.

The way to the parking place is a bit tricky but the stay is absolutely amazing. We had a very neat nd clean room. The linen was clean and fresh. Best part was staff hospitality. Mr Logesh was very hospitable. The location was central for sightseeing.
