“Hidden gem, peace and bliss”

Aparna is a wonderful host and this place is a hidden gem. Stunning, quiet beaches, friendly people - who made us feel welcome at local Theyyam festival. The place is basic but perfect for some beach and chill time. Aparna’s cooking is delicious, she is kind and friendly and helped us understand a lot about the area.

Apana the host was really friendly, welcoming with us and everyone else. It made it feel like being part of the family. She also made us aware of a Theyyam dance nearby which is a once in a lifetime experience.

What an amazing place, paradise! We are visiting Kerala and wanted a chill for 6 nights. Read about this place on a travel blog. We are so pleased we came across it. It really is a total chill. Beach 5 minute walk and probably one of the best I’ve had the pleasure to visit. Ivory Coast Homestay was amazing. Clean, super food and a wonderful family. Aparna and her children made us feel at home and comfortable. Aparna organised trips and taxis when we needed, nothing was too much. Highly recommend visiting this area of Kerala.

The property is in a lovely, very quiet location. It’s next to a few fantastic beaches. What makes this place however is the host ‘Aparna’. She is such a kind, lovely and entertaining person. I really enjoyed charring with her and she made me giggle. The rooms are simple and have lots of space. Communication prior to arriving was good and ‘Aparna’ arranged a tuk tuk for me in the middle of the night, she also Whatsapped me to make sure i was up and to see if the tuk tuk had arrived. I felt very looked after. The food is nice too.
