Pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. Very modern-looking well-maintained building, set in a nice garden environment. Room was very comfortable. Simple but nice breakfast was included.

Very hospitable host of a 5 or so room residence. Even making us breakfast to takeaway as we departing before the set menu breakfast start time of 8.30am.

Clean and beautiful rooms, excelent breakfast (both traditional and european), apart from the noise of the city, but at walking distance from the historical center. Very close to big Buddha statue. The garden is like a park and the owners are very pleasant and helpful people. Staying here added value to my staying in Sri Lanka.

Well maintained property with tasteful decorations and furniture. Our room was spacious with everything that might be expected for comfort. We were warned to keep the balcony door shut to keep out wildlife, like monkeys... The service breakfast was good but with, obviously, not as wide a choice as for a buffet. Breakfast time was nominally at 8.30 am but modifiable by arrangement with the owner and his wife. There is no restaurant for dinner and the nearest one, (which was very average in quality) is 6 min walk away. Otherwise a long walk (uphill on the way home) or a tuk-tuk is required. At the price charged per night, this hotel is good value.

The property overlooks the hills of kandy, which offers great views to wake up to. Everything was spotless and communication with the host was always great. We were getting the train to Ella early in the morning, and they helped us organise transport to the train station and provided our breakfast as takeaway. It was a shame we were there for only one night. We recommend this place highly.

The place is very well maintained and clean. The owner helped us to arrange a tuk tuk the next morning and packed our breakfast at 7am so we can have something to eat in the train to Ella. It is a walking distance from the city centre, WiFi was very good. You get your own key and you can get back to the hotel at whatever time you want.

I wanted to let you know that a very tasteful entrance which led down to the room we had booked. I would like to add this was the last room they had which was a budget room with twin beds. The room was spotless, breakfast was amazing and the staff were very attentive. Wonderful gardens in a quiet location
