Greeted warmly by staff, with a cool drink and engaging smile. The views of the lake were spectacular, room was large with balcony and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was out of this world, so much choice and you could get a container to take some for lunch. Amazing infinity pool with helpful lifeguard and staff. Looked after, extremely attentive as was unwell and kept an eye on me.

We stayed for 2 nights on our way to Ella. On arrival we were upgraded to the Royal Pavillion which was brilliant. We had really nice size rooms with a fantastic view over Kandy. It is situated just a few minutes walk from Kandy lake and the walk was a little steep, but very short and perfectly manageable, otherwise there are plenty of tuktuks. The breakfast was a buffet style and there was plenty of choice. We ate here in the evening and there was a choice of buffet or a la carte. The attendant at the pool was so polite and helpful, as were all the staff in the hotel. They arranged for tuktuks on our departure to the station, which was a short drive away. Nothing was too much trouble.

Beautiful views across Kandy right next the forest, amazing swimming pool that never seemed to busy. Super friendly staff and really tasty food - highly recommend breakfast and dinner buffet. Room was beautiful and huge!

This was a fabulous hotel, the food was excellent and the 40m pool overlooking Kandy was really lovely. Walking distance of the temples and the culture dance shiws too made it a great choice

Beautiful views from the rooms, pool, restaurants. The room was spacious and had great views on the mountains and town. Easy for us to walk to town and to the tooth temple from the hotel. Staff were really nice and welcoming. Breakfast was really good, lots of options and value.
