A modern room with a comfortable bed. Very spacious. Breakfast was very good! The room view was average. But in general Hotel has a very good view! Sadly the restaurant view is not the best. But from the hotel Lobby and some rooms you can see a good view. Maybe you have to ask for a room with a better view. Receptionists and stewards are friendly.

The view from the top of the hill was amazing. So was the view from the pool area. The whole hotel was opulent and reminiscent of the splendour of the olden days of the kingdom of Kandy. Absolutely lovely. The dinner buffet was amazing.

Our three-night stay at the Grand Kandyan Hotel in December was nothing short of extraordinary. The presidential suite exceeded our expectations – impeccably clean and well-maintained. From the welcoming ambiance upon entering to the friendly and helpful staff, every moment was a delight. The team's unwavering assistance made our stay exceptionally comfortable. The breathtaking view of the Kandy hills added a magical touch to our experience. To top it off, the delicious buffet offerings at Tamarind was a culinary delight and really enhanced our experience at the hotel. We're grateful to the entire team for helping us create such wonderful memories here in Kandy, and we are excited to return one day. Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Grand Kandyan Hotel to anyone seeking a delightful stay in Kandy.

Overall Luxury environment , furniture ..ect , big room space size , some great city view , excellent breakfast buffet range, Honest kindly staff.. Very special note n thanks and appreciate for staff front office n lobby. Very honest and helpful staff .. after check in i forget my mobile phone @ Lobby n go to room ..but soon after lovely hotel staff member knocked my room n given my phone to 🤗.. until she came i dnt know that i forget phone .. thanks who worked on 1st June 2024 nite shift 👍🤝❤
