Glorious jungle location, stunning property lovingly restored by its owners with a lovely friendly team of staff who were so helpful and kind - and top quality food. Divine swimming pool. Grounds full of fruit and spice trees and full of birds and wildlife.

The house has been restored and renovated to a very high level . The rooom was very stylish and comfortable. I had a wonderful swim in the morning in the infinity pool with a spectacular view.The food was great and we particularly loved the spicy watermelon juice . The highlight though was the owner’s 5 miniature schnauzers who were delightful 🥰

Everything, the tranquility, quality and uniqueness. David, the owner makes the place a very special experience which we plan to return to as much as we can. Special mention to the amazing Jerez who is so knowledgable about the surrounding flora and fauna.

A real find, loved our stay - beautiful property, beautiful outlook over the main pool, very friendly staff and brilliant food - we loved it. We met David who was charming and we loved meeting the 5 Directors. Highly recommend. Very easy to travel into Kandy, in our view much better to stay here and relax rather than staying in central Kandy...

i think the property is absolutely stunning, created with a lot of taste and thought. It is surrounded by lush green forest and has breathtaking sunsets. Would like to be back there

A jewel of a hotel. A magnificent waluwaa which has been lovingly restored and decorated. The art collection is mesmerising especially for anyone with an interest in Sri Lankan art and history. David has done a superb job and we only wished we had stayed longer. The meals on the vernada were superb quality and portion sizes were just right. We enjoyed a walk around the estate grounds. Highly recommended and would lend itself to a longer stay as a well located base and so much nicer than being in Kandy or a large impersonal hotel.

facilities and staff were exceptional - Cannot speak highly enough about either. the hotel has an incredible view from the infinity pool and the rooms are extremely luxurious. All the staff, including the owner, were extremely friendly, helpful and keen to make the stay a relaxing one.
