Felt like a safe haven from hustle and bustle of kandy but right by all the sights! Always go for the Sri Lankan breakfast! Very friendly staff always helpful.

Location is excellent and very close to lake and tourist attractions and town. Staff were friendly and very helpful with very good English. Breakfast was great and the prices were good. Unfortunately we had two issues with the room, one being the Internet was not working and kept coming up with the warning that the Internet bill has not been paid. We eventually got this sorted but they were very hesitant to giving us another Internet option. The other issue was the A/C pipes blocked causing water to drip everywhere. They couldn't fix if so they put a bowl underneath which caused a loud dripping sound all night.

We had an excellent stay at SWP Eco Lodge. The staff are brilliant - very welcoming and provide top notch service. The room was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view over the lake. Great shower. Would stay here again.

The room and view were gorgeous! The Sri Lankan breakfast was super tasty and filling, perfect for a long day of exploring. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to the lake and close to a beautiful viewpoint as well. Staff were very kind and attentive.

Fantastic accommodation, beautiful room with lovely view. The staff are amazing and the owner is very helpful. You also get a ride to the station free of charge! Food is tasty and plenty. I would stay here again.

SWP is set in such a beautiful spot, elevated above the lake with a beautiful view, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but only a very short walk into the city! However, the real highlight of our stay was the staff - we felt like we had butler service! The staff could not do enough for us - we didn’t have to lift a finger! It felt like there was 3 people on hand at any one time to assist with any requests, with such kindness and a smile - special thanks to Tharuka in particular!
